and due dates.
Assignments may be submitted on Canvas. (Scan your work and upload files.)
Assignments submitted after the due date will be "counted" but not graded.
This means that if you do not turn in the assignment by the due date, but you do
turn in the assignment at some later time before the end of the semester,
then I will see what you have done at the end of the semester and make an evaluation
at that time concerning your course grade, but you will receive no feedback or numerical
grade posted on Canvas for that assignment.
If you do not like that arrangement, you have the option to go over
the late assignment with me either in person in office hours or by some other means
(like using email). This will be the available means for you to receive both feedback
on your work and a numerical grade on Canvas.
This applies to all assignments submitted
after the due date regardless of the reason.
Note: There is at least one week between
due dates, and often there is exactly one week between due dates. Assignments should be
posted (available) at least two weeks before the corresponding due date, and many times
the assignment will be posted more than two weeks before the due date. Working ahead and
asking questions in class (or office hours or by email) is recommended.
Grading Scheme: (Below 60% F; 60-69% D; 70-79% C; 80-89% B; 90-100% A)
